C300: How do you make C100/300 footage look less digital and more cinematic

Very nice Noel. The desaturated footage really worked for me, especially. I thought all the footage had a natural, cinematic feel, and of course the production design helped convey that as well(it's always much more than the camera). Great work!

Cheers Dino. Greatly appreciated.

Keep the contrast lower and it has a by nature a slightly softer appearance.

FWIW as well Im working on a much higher contrast piece right now and Im not really sure that relative sharpness has much to do with the outcome. As Dino said its in the production design and so many other factors.

Heres a still from that higher contrast piece, sharper looking piece.

EDIT: Doh the resize shrinks and softens it. Its tack sharp my end.

I loved this piece Noel, such a beautiful film, and you know how I love war stuff, maybe not to "Docs" level but it's my fav.

Great, Noel.
Never seen something like this before - coming out of a C300 (C-log?)
So maybe I don't have to buy a bulky and expensive F5 (if you add up everything you need - batteries, media, card reader etc.)
Thank you.
