How do we get people to watch our short?

And you don't want to! See, the forum automatically replaces certain "bad words." For example, if I type "****" you see "poo poo" but what I really typed was the F word. Now, there is one word/phrase so terrible and so foul that very few times has it passed someone's lips without that person kneeling over right there! That word changes to "bad tomatoes."
 
I have just read the whole thread and I had some thoughts about what is advertising. One of the direct ways to make advertising is to put a lot of picture work in the thread like pictures of the actors, a good looking poster, grabs, etc.... An other way is to give critics on other threads so all people can often see your name and also take an idea from your personality seeing what you have to say. The last thing is comunication in general: make jokes, to be interested in learning something about the whole film subject - ask the others if you want to know something or give suggestions if you are able to do that.
All things considered, let people know that you are there. I don't think that it is enough to make a decent or good film - advertising is absolutly necessary!

Quite simply answered- Boobs, Lots of Boobs right up front :) Cheap, but effective.

Hey, Noel updated his website! He even got a picture now! I met him in Toyko and he definitely is a great guy!

On topic:
Well, just stay around DVXuser and get involved in the community. Make some decent films. Start threads for them, get people interested in your work. Just have a good time and get better at what you love!

That is what I have been doing hopefully i have made a little bit of an impact on some of you guys. I am truly blessed to have become a part of DVXuser.com and to have seen a great video like "RickRoll" thanks Mark, (BTW I think Rick Astley is the second coolest white dude of all time.) And just jumping in like I have has already been worth it. I just need to get off the threads, damn addicting isn't it? I really should be getting other things done but can't seem to stay away longer then a couple of minutes.
