How do i transfer footage from my p2 card to my pc?

I did a serach and for some reason it didn't find results.

I borrowed my buddys hpx170.

I have camera, firewire to firewire cable

I'm on pc.

Anytime i plug the camera nothing reads doesnt show up in anything.

I"m editing on pro cs5 - what am i doing wrong?

you need to use usb2.0.

Yes, USB. When transfering to a mac you would use the firewire, for PC it is the USB cable. If you haven't already you will need to download the drivers from the Panasonic Website
