How do I get firmware to my SD card from my G4 laptop?

Just got my 16GB card. Very excited. So I downloaded the firmware and understand that I have to upload it to a 64MB SD card and then that will update my HVX, but how do I first get it onto the SD card from my Mac? I don't have a slot for it. Some PC's have slots I bet but my powerbook doesn't. Do i have to buy an extra USB port that will connect to it?

I'm sure this is an easy answer because a lot of us use Apple and I searched threads and there's nothing on it.

Any Mac users have answers, thanks.

Yes sir, I have a external port on my mac that I used, but you might be able to put that card into a regular camera, and plug the camera in via USB. Then going into applications > utilities > disc utilities > then erase everything from that disc (card), then just drag the PRIVATE folder that you downloaded into the disc on the desktop. Not sure if this will work but please let me know

I got a cheap sd card reader (that doubles as a jumpdrive with sd card in it) at microcenter for like $10. You can also find 2gb sd cards at microcenter for $10-$20. If you don't have a microcenter near you, check CompUsa.
Here's the one I have. Works flawless. (i've had well over a year)
