How do I get an HD image to a monitor?

Howdy: As a new 200 user, I'm having to learn new things that don't exist on my trusty DVX. Anyhow, Mr. Green recommends using an HD monitor as a focusing aid. I like that idea, but how does one get an HD signal out of the camera?

Also, there are some nice and inexpensive HD computer monitors available, such as the ViewSonic that I am typing on at this very moment. It purports to be "1080p Full HD." I have watched some nice video on it, but from my laptop.

I don't see any connection points on it that look like they might help me...

Ideas?

Thanks.

a "new 200 user" thats a fairly old model. did you buy it used? did it COME WITH the component cable?

Yes, it is a plain old 200 that I bought used. (My first venture into the world of P2.) I'm afraid it is missing that component cable. However, even if I had that, is that output actually HD? At the risk of sounding poorly informed, can any of the outputs on that camera deliver an HD image?

Wouldn't I really need an HDMI cable for that? My HDC-TM700 has an HDMI connection, but it's much newer.

Thanks.

Yes, you can output either 720p or 1080i through the component cable.

(That's how most HD was delivered to a TV before HDMI.)
