How do i check the total hours used the Canon Xh A1

There's no way the end user can check the hours. It's not even clear if Canon can check it.

Answer: You don't. You just enjoy the camera to it's fullest potential, don't worry about the hours and tell the buyer the same thing.

What a sigh of relief as a former 100a owner. So glad this cam doesn't have an hour meter on it. Cameras aren't carded action figures in a display case. Take them out, use them!
