Hi,
I think I have problem: my camera is 410 grams with battery and everything. According to the Cheesycam video, it´s still too bottom heavy (although not too much). The least weigth I can put on the nano is 160 grams which makes the camera move from horizontal to vertical in just one and a half or so seconds. The center post is adjusted to the shortest. So no less weigthcan be put on the steadycam and no more shortening of the center post is avalible
Oh and dnother thing - what is it that makes it go like laws of physics doesn´t apply: I have it ballanced so that it is in right angle to the ground, I rotate the bearing 180 degrees, and it´s completly off... like almost horizontal
EDIT: Ok so I´ve probably solved the too light camera problem by putting one iron ring under the camera
Thx. That worked
Also, the crazy physically unreal movement was cuased by improper screw tension. So if you have similar problem, check how the screws are done.
Oh and for those who´ve never balance a steadycam, with my camera (lumix FZ7) the difference between camera on (lens out of the camera) and off (lend in the camera) is probably 30 degree difference in verticalalso zooming changes the angle quite a lot
Easy, just loose or tighten the screw on the handle or the screws holding the bearing ring.
