How can i save uncompressed clips to DVD?

For a work project we are shooting different sites and scenes around Washington DC in 720/30p. We have used the 4gig cards (which usually gives me around 4 or 5 minutes of space) and then for storage we just drag the contents and TXT folder over to a Data DVD.

My question is, if I shoot on a 16 gig card, how can I drag individual clips (4 gigs worth) and save them on a data DVD?

Shooting on a 4 gig card makes the transfer easy, but it's almost useless when I'm heading to many different areas of town. Is their a way I can shoot all my footage on 16 gig cards then transfer individual clips to fill up 4 different DVD's?

Roxio Toast (Mac) has a feature that allows oversized files to be archived on multiple DVDs and later restored from an application that's built into the archive disk. It works very well.

You might also find that you can simply copy 4 GBs worth at a time onto multiple DVDs, since the P2 file system (IIRC) doesn't allow individual files larger than that. But the Toast system is very easy to use.

I don't know if a PC version does it (there are several, and I don't know which is equivalent), but I would think one of them does...
