How are you transferring footage?

My internal Rosewill is not reading my SD cards anymore. Doing some searching it seems that is actually pretty common - the pins may have gotten bent. It's not the card since it works in my laptop, so I am looking for a USB 3.0 card reader that will do SD and CF cards. Any preferences by you guys?

Do you have a FireWire port? If you're looking at USB 3.0 for speed, you might as well go with a FireWire card reader.

I wouldn't mind having something that I can use to transfer on a laptop if I need to as well, so in that case USB might be better. Do you personally use this one?

I don't, but as I was looking around, that seemed like the best "bang for your buck" option. I trust SanDisk.

which I use when I'm out 'n about. I like the cover as I can leave a card in there and tote it if need be. When i'm home I use that + the card reader on my monitor (if I have a lot of data, otherwise just the monitor card reader)

Sadly, I didn't even realize I could do that haha. Will use this method for now!
