Its been a while since Ive posted on here, and so thought I would share my most recent work. Its a promo video for a rent a bike scheme in Bristol called Hourbike, and its my first time working on something other than snowboarding and skating, so some detailed critique would be really helpful.

Filmed in 1080 24p, color correction with MB Looks, edited with Premiere Pro and I used the Mainconcept transcoder to transcode to dvcprohd and worked with those files in Premiere Pro.

Thanks!

I love the shots,
the place reminds me of Leiden, Netherlands.
I think the music is a bit off for this promo, but it grew on me.
It doesn't feel like your everyday promo/
For a promo I thought that you lingered to long with certain shots
1:46 for example . The edit can be a snappier.

But then again I enjoyed it, for some reason it reminded me of a day in Leiden.
1080p rocks

Thanks for that critique, I think your right about that shot and some of the others lingering.
And I didnt have much choice with the music, only about 3 songs made by a friend, as the company didnt want to get involved with copyright issues, so I just had to work with it. It worked better than I thought it would though.

Thanks again :)

pretty solid, some of the shots didnt pertain to the promo, but looked good regardless. like everts said, some of the shots lingered for a bit too long, when im making a promo, i always like to have nice tight cuts and no loose lingering cuts. but if you had to have this a certain length, then do what you have to do, because there is only so much you can do to make renting a bike interesting haha. but all things aside, i was impressed, colours were nice and robust, composition for the most part was excellent. exposure looked nice. great job!
