Hot Air Balloons (in 4k!)

Hi everyone. I've just uploaded my first video to YouTube in 4k shot on a Canon T2i. I took a timelapse of hot air balloons in Las Cruces, NM and used a 4096x2309 workflow comp size. Took a few test runs before I got it right. Sad truth: It takes YouTube 4k to equal the same quality delivered by Vimeo 1080p. You have to navigate to the actual YouTube video page to play in 4k:

(NOTE: Big thanks to the Magic Lantern crew. I used the ML firmware's intervalometer on this.)

For anyone who feels like watching the same footage with a different song, here's the Vimeo upload. Slightly different color grading, too. I got Vimeo Plus about a week after uploading this, so it's in 720p. Be really interested to know which is your favorite version:

Beautiful! I'm still just messing around with the T2i but I came back from NM a few weeks ago and missed this! I've found the color combination used to grade the second video works wonderful in that climate as well, it really brings out the sky and adds punch to the sand.

Thanks Deniz! I was a fan of the 2nd color scheme too, but couldn't get it to export to 4k without really ugly banding. Wanted it so bad though. Watching these back to back really highlights the difference the color change makes in keeping your eyes interested.

Had to wrestle with it for a few days before I finally admitted defeat.
