Heard from my contact at Hoodman today and yes, they hope to be on track for this summer now that the 16 gb drivers have been released from Panasonic. The ad which many of you have mentioned is identical to the NAB publicity pieces.

Hoodman may have a tiger by the tail. By the time they get their cards ready Panasonic's prices per GB may have dropped below theirs. I wish them the best of luck.

The demand is pretty high for P2 cards right now. There are bidding wars on ebay over the 4GB cards! Hoodman could make some serious money if they could put 16GB cards on the market by July. I'll have to agree with John Godden though ... Summer 07 will probably turn into 08 or something ...
