Hey no problem. The mount was something I have been wanting for awhile but have been too busy to get around to building. It is made from a product called ReadiRail. And as the name states it is ready to go. You can order it online but I bought mine locally from GBS bearing here in Montreal. The rail is extruded aluminum U channel with a stainless steel rail embedded on each side. The trucks consist of 3 heavy duty bearings with the centre bearing adjustable for drag resistance. Really all you have to do is decide how wide you want the rails to sit and then cut a few pieces of aluminum to that width and away you go. I went further and decided to add the option of making it a hood mount. So I added four adjustable SS carriage bolts at each corner for leveling. Here are some pics of it mounted on my car.

In all it was not as cheap as some of the micro dollies on the market, but it is strong and built to take a fairly heavy load, upwards of 50lbs can easily ride on this system. And it is whisper quiet when used as a dolly so there is no problem with location sound recording.

I have already used it on a few shoots this last week and it is proving itself to be very versatile.
