My main concern was the compression settings, but here are some grabs with different Instant HD settings.

All were exported at 1920x1080. You tell me if there is $100 worth of difference added to the picture. The highlight on the very back of the bee is the biggest difference.

I definitely see the improvements and some trade offs. You picked a tough frame for Instant HD.

It looks like you shot interlaced, the conversion seems to just emphasize the stepping, especially on the bees back and the center of the flower.

Yessum' mam. I don't think your up rez will do better than your regular dvd system.
