I just wanted to touch on what people were mentioning about how his facial appearance appears to be tied to his past history of substance abuse.
Don't be so quick to judge on that. I've had friends who at 25 years old looked as rough or rougher than that.
Most of the rougher looking people I've known has been mostly due to working outdoors in sunlight. Some life long farmers for example and certainly railroad workers could easily out rough that guys appearance. And then you have genetics and nationality.
And besides, like he said, it's radio, or more specifically, VO.
You should never judge people by thier physical appearance. You know that. Right?
Great story, but man, does that guy have a lot of mileage on his face. He must have gone through some real serious drug abuse. Hope he stays clean with his new fame.
...
I'm sure being homeless, he also spent much of his time outside in the sun. He didn't get looking like that by living like a monk, that's for sure.
Oh jeez...I challenge anyone to make it through the interview on the bottom of this page without shedding a tear.
