It takes much longer to rewind a tape compared to my XL-2..
Is everyone experiencing this?

Is there any optional mattebox that could fit the XHA1 without covering the IF sensor?

Hi Hobbes, the standard AF works with the sensor covered the IAF doesnt - I dont think you could find any mattebox that wont cover it.

Yeah the rewind isnt the fastest going around.

Hobbes Im in Japan but I am coming for a visit to see those girls live.
 
Hi Hobbes. Winston at Expandore said they were trying to source for a suitable matte box for the A1. You might want to give him a call and ask if they thought about the IAF sensor getting blocked.

Ok after playing with the A1 G1, heres another thing I would like to add.. anyone did a test on the "skin" function?

I had some trouble fitting the A1 G1 into my tripid.. the base width of the camera is just too 'wide' - manfotto (got problem with screwing it tightly)
