please give constructive criticizm and comments and what you thought of the two cameras side by side. Overall i love my HMC. The T2i is very hard to film with, but i really love the shallow DOF with the T2i. I also only have the stock lens so i gotta buy a new one asap, but my money is really short right now on account of i'm 18 and just spent 4500 on cameras! haha. but yeah here ya go, please leave comments

Thanks for doing this.
I would have liked to see more side-by-side tests, especially on the trampoline stuff. (did you shoot any of that with the 150?)

As you said, the stock lens of the T2i is hard thing to gauge this test on...the benfit of a DSLR is when you start putting high-quality primes on there...that's when you going to start noticing that "bokeh" difference.

That said, still love my HMC-150

amazed at how well the colors match....at least in daylight.
would liked to have seen the T2 in the night time shots for comparison.

For what you are filming I think the HMC is better. The T2i looks more filmic with its better dynamic range. But that’s probably not what you were going for. The Pana looks contrasty in comparison but the colors of both were on par. With the T2i if you turned up contrast in post (or while filming) you would have probably matched them better.

thanks for the comments guys, and yes it wasn't side by side comparisons, but it was more of just an edit with two cameras, one DSLR and one HMC to compare how they both held up, and how easy/hard it was to film with them both

I'll give it a test. My footage, in any condition, comes out slightly blurred and grainy... It looks like SD footage that has been scaled up and not HD quality at all. I use ev dtl and focus assist but still looks like junk. This is even on an HD monitor through HDMI and gets worse when transfered with final cut pro.
