HMC150 naming

[Andrew McCarrick]

Just curious why the HMC was giving the 'C' in its name, when it doesn 24p. I though 'X' meant 24p, so shouldn't the HMC150 be the HMX150? I can see 'H' meaning HiDef and 'M' meaning Media (SD card) but I don't get the 'C'.

I don't get it either; but maybe Panasonic has their own version of "everything is subject to change, count on it"? I would have thought it would be HMX150 too...
