hmc big battery

I should have asked who has the battery in stock.
I will not be placing the order personally so I would like to save my friend some time.
 
The additional battery that I received when buying the Camera is labeled VW-VBG6. Same thing with the 2 other supposely VW-VBG6PPK batteries that I bough from B&H in February.

So, this is my understanding that there is only one battery, and it's the VW-VBG6

Is there anyone that have a battery labeled VW-VBG6PPK on it (not on the box)? I don't think there is any!
 
It is the same battery. On the box it "VW-VBG6" in white print over blue; just under the bar code "VW-VBG6PP-K" in black over white.
 
I'm looking for an extra one also... Is getting kind of bad, there was a guy on craigslist here on Chicago asking any HMC150 user to rent him a battery for 10 days (i had a couple of shoots so i couldn't... and not sure i would trust him either) =)

Any info would be great (I'm getting tired of carrying the charger "just in case")

There's a typo I believe on the BH site. the features page says 5800mAH but it should be 5400 mAH. Dont know what it means, just know that it is the small one.
The one Im looking for is the bigger once hence the name of the thread hmc big battery

Those are both the same battery, the VW-VBG6....5800 mAH.

To the best of my knowledge, there are only two batteries for the HMC-150, VW-VBG6 (5800) and the little one that comes with the camera, the VW-VBG260 (2500).
The 5400 is a typo.

I just received my battery for the HMC150 and it says 7.2V 5400mAh

Is it not supposed to be 5800? Also, the box says VW-VBG6 but there's a large decal on the back that says VW-VBG6PP-K

What gives?

Also, can I use the charger that came wit the camera Ad20 I believe to charge this?

That's odd, it is supposed to be 5800. Where did you buy it?

Yes, you can charge these batteries with the supplied charger. They just stick out a little bit.
 
So you bought it from Spec-Comm?

I just scanned my battery for comparison. You'll see that there are a couple of other things that are different. On mine, there is an 'A' in a box in the lower left, and yours has a circle with 'PSE' on the center top.

Don't know if that means anything, but it's different.
