HMC 150 New Battery?

It's too late now. As I said, I've just received my large Panny battery so I'll stick with it. If you want to see some reviews there are a few on B&H. One guy says he went camping or something and had some juice left for the next day as well.

Well, I'd love to argue some more with you guys but, sadly enough, i have to get to work...

I'm seeing Panasonic HMC150 chargers on ebay for under $15.. are these for real? Two OEM batteries would be $290 + $15 for a charger. How long does it take to charge the VWVBG6PPK battery?

Another other reason to use an elipz would be the ability to power external lights and monitors (and balancing out a shoulder mount system), but two HMC OEM Batteries shold be sufficient for most uses.

But the VW-VBG6PPK will fit on the charger that came with that camera then?

Yes. It sticks out a bit, but still charges just fine.

I've got two of the big Panasonic batts, plus the original little guy, and I've found for my needs, I've got just enough for a non-charger 1 1/2 day shoot. I bring the charger anyways, but only use it if I know I've got a place to use it for a length of time.

I would possibly get a 3rd large battery if I were staying at my locations for multiple days, then I could cycle the batteries.

Any result on those cheap eBay chargers? I could use a 2nd one as a backup.

Takes about 6 hours.

I got this 20$ charger just because it's also a car charger. It's kind of slow though, it takes about 5 hours to charge the small Panny battery on a wall outlet. I haven't tested it on a car yet.
