HMC 150 Firmware update 1.20?

I'm with Skilled. If I don't have a problem needing fixed, and it doesn't offer increased performance why do it?

Where on Panasonic's site is the detailed info of what it does?
 
i just downloaded the mac viewer, but no app shows up in the unzipped folder? what gives? i tried twice
 
Well, I wanted to update, but so far no luck. Windows 7 does not recognize the camcorder, although it list it as AVCHD hardware...

Then again, if the upgrade is only for class 10 cards, not really a big need right now...

Usually software that works on Vista should work in win7, but I'm going to guess you may be running in 64 bit? It will only work with 32 bit versions of windows, doh!
 
Just updated mine, on win7rc 32bits. Gave me an error at the first try, but updated successfully at the second. I didn't have to do anything special, just connected it, followed the instructions, and voilà.

I got my HMC150 only about five weeks after the Original Poster. It came with 1.20 installed. So before rushing to upgrade, you might want to check whether you actually have anything to upgrade.
