HMC 150 Firmware update 1.20?

Hey guys,
I just got my HMC150 yesterday :D and today, while looking around on the Panasonic website, there seems to be a new firmware update to 1.20. Has anybody downloaded this yet? Apparently this is what it updates. I'm kinda curious about the updated software for macs.

1. Support SDHC "Class 10" Memory Card.
* Following message is displayed on the LCD monitor or view finder and cannot be recorded to SDHC "CLASS 10" memory card in PH mode or HA mode with previous software.
Message : "CANNOT RECORD PH MODE AND HA MODE INTO THIS CARD."
2. Update software for Macintosh has been added.
 
I haven't updated my firmware once.. my hmc seems to be working just fine though.. Is it worth it to update?
 
I noticed the update yesterday and updated the firmware. It is super easy and takes 10 minutes tops (Mine updated in 6 minutes).

If Panasonic is releasing updated firmware, why not install it? If it updates your HMC150 and brings improvements, those are welcome!

When I saw the "Update software for Macintosh has been added" I was stoked, however I don't know what it updated (If it makes it more friendly to edit in iMovie or FCP?)
 
The bummer is for the unlucky few that the firmware update crashes on. Then it's off to Panasonic service.

I hope to see some performance based firmware updated in the future. That would be exciting.
 
Yeah, be careful. Earlier this year, updating fried something internally on my camera. I had to send it off only a month after getting it. If you decide to update, be sure you don't need it for at least two weeks. Just in case.

No, this is big! The HMC150 firmware update can now be performed via a mac, not just a PC!

What benefits do you get from a class 10 card? Does it just mean higher transfer speeds between card to computer? Is there actually any benefit for the camcorder?
 
Downloaded without a glitch... my very first firmware update since I just got mine a couple of days ago.
Love the AVCCAM Viewer Functions on my new MBP 15! Instant viewing in HD!

Yes, but you can't scroll in your video with the AVCCAM Viewer. You need to use VLC media player for that.
 
How do I do a firmware update?
I just bought a class 10 card and I want to minimize risk as much as possible.
