On page 23 it states: "As soon as you eject the card from the camera, immediatley write-protect it." What does "write-protect" mean, and how do you do it? Thanks.
The small tab on the card should be moved towards the bottom of the card (away from the contacts). Most devices will no longer write to the card with the switch in that position.
Simply move the switch back to the write enabled position when you want to write more data.
The reason to write protect the card BEFORE you connect it to a computer (via a reader) is that some computers will write OS info to the card when you insert it - and you really don't want that.
