T2i hissing audio, choppy video

is it just my camera or do you guys get a hissing sound from you t2i vids, i even plugged in my rode mic and it stills picks up a hissing sound. Also I'm not sure if its due to my kingston 8gb class 4 card or my computer but the video is very choppy on my computer, what is your work flow proccess for editing these video files on vista/7. i get .mov files from the camera.
 
The H.264 files out of the camera are highly compressed. You will want to convert them to something more intended for editing. You have many options..

What do you edit on?
 
I use sony vegas, I guess my computer cant handle it without converting. I converted it to windows media format and it played fine. Its just the audio problem now, there is a hissing sound.
 
It's most likely from the Auto Gain Control that the camera has built it. Even Rode mic won't fix it, you'll need get an external recorder to get rid of that, or hope that they come out with firmware soon like they did for the 5D.

you guys should REALLY read the 7d and 5d topics, since its been covered almost what...2 years ago? or whenever the 5d came out
