Hip Hop Music Video - B2daDot's "This Dat Joint" - Canon 5D

Pretty decent video. Slow motion shots look bad I would remove them. Whenever you shoot slo-mo with 5D or 7D shoot @ 60 Static shots only! hand held looks doesn't look good. Some of the graphics doesn't fit, the guy dancing in the beginning doesn't fit overall if you remove the slo mo the guy dancing and the graphics into solid backgrounds it'll look better.

Thanks!!!

@Estebeverde You should see some of my custom car show videos for the booties! LOL! Seriously I do know what you mean and actually I thought I was gonna catch flack for the couple of booty shots I left in of the girl in the cage. @Artistiam I would have to agree with you on the slo mo shots. I wasn't exactly thrilled over slowing those shots down, I can always replace them and play them back at normal speed. I thought the speaker and grundge looking graphics worked. Do you think I should have just used one graphic for the green screen shots throughout instead of using 3 different ones? I really liked the backgrounds of the speakers. The disco ball might have been a little to much and the grunge look for the artist I thought was cool. Most of the video was shot with a Glidecam and a DVRig Pro shoulder support. Nothing was handheld. The shot sheet called for a dolly with tracks, a crane and glidecam but we opted to shoot with the glidecam for most of the video. All the green screen shots were locked down on a tripod and one of the performance shots on the dance floor as well.

Decent vid. The slo mo shots didn't work for this vid. They seemed forced and somewhat unnecessary. If you were going to do it, it would have worked well on a close up of one the girls walking or what you could have done is jump cut to girls' faces, upper body then booty. The green screen was alright but to me it looked a little amateurish and not as believable (I'm not trying to tear you down, I'm just giving some constructive criticism). With green screen you have the ability to do a lot of things and I just felt you could have taken it further then just keying people out and inserting a motion design background. I did like the speakers background which you probably got from one of the Editor's Toolkit from Digital Juice (one of my fav sites). Overall, it was an alright video and hope to see more in the future.
