I know it's been said, but I'm saying again.

Cheers to Barry, Jarred and all that worked on the fest. It's an INCREDIBLE amount of work [and all for the love of film.]

To give up sooooo much personal time for all of us is just awesome!

Absolutely! Thanks, guys.

And this seems like a good place to add: There're a lot of good things to see in Sci-Fest. Plenty of variety so there should be something for everyone here. You can definitely see that everyone put a lot of work and love into their films, regardless of their level of expertise. Support them, download the videos, take a look and let them know what you think.

Thanks for the props, guys. We do this stuff because we believe in it. It's one thing to sit around and count pixels, but making films is really what it's all about. Any time I spend on moderating the site or working on DVXFest is well spent.

I'm glad there are people like you guys out there. You're inspiring everyone to go out and make great films, and that's what it's all about! Thank you!

Yeah, I've just joined the community to join the discussion on the fest, and I've gotta say I've been blown away by how dedicated you guys are. You're doing a really cool thing here, and it's pretty amazing to see all these people really coming together and helping each other out and trying to make each other better film makers. On the internet no less. Great job, guys.

Hey.. its kinda what this place is all about. The fest takes alot of time, costs me a bit of cash and sometimes can be a real pain in the ass.. but sitting down and watching what you guys come up with makes it all worth while.

Its the best way to learn.. and improve.. to actually make a film every couple months. Learn from mistakes, and learn from what others have done.

Woohoo! We cant thank you enough. And its not that you just go through all of this for the fest, you guys make it personal and actually care about talking to everyone. Keep up the good work and make sure to get some rest!!!!

Yo thanks a million guys. This experience with the fests are one of those things that I will talk about for a long time to come. I made a promise to make sure I do at least 4 shorts a year and this fest helps big time in making that happen and gives me the motivation to get up and do it even if I have no time to really do one. I have been up editing and tweaking a show we pitch to Nickolodean this tuesday and I still cant help but check in every once in a while to see whats going on. Im trying not to read any of the comments on films I havent had the chance to see yet which is most of them but starting tuesday Im in there like swimwear to be fair and vote with care.
Peace my brothers!

I know I'm really new to this "community", but I do also think that it's incredible to have this kind of established website for filmmakers. It makes a lot of us get up off of our asses and do something with these really nice cameras. So big ups to you both, Jared and Barry.

Yeah, I appreciate all your hard work putting these together as well. I plan on doing more of fests in the future. With the dogs of course. :) Thanks Jarred and Barry.

we have been missing from the forum for a while and we are truly happy to be "back". a big thank you to jarred and barry for getting this fest together once again AND to all of the users who made the shorts! we have watched all of them and truly enjoyed them! we are going to watch them all at least a second time and then....VOTE! we plan on commenting on all of them as well. GOOD WORK EVERYONE! the only problem with this fest is that we couldn't enter it!:D

Yes, many thanks Barry and Jarred. I'm looking forward to the DVD release already.

Also looking forward to those nominations ;)
