I Guess Iam the new kid on the block,and just wanted to say Hi to the A1 Group.
My HX-A1 is supposed to be arriving tomorrow,so I am sure I will be back
with a miriade of questions, as I have never owned such a advanced camera before. Glad I found this board awhile back I am sure it will be an excellent resource for me, Ive already run accross quite a few very informative posts Here
in my browsing.

-Yes the mic is very loose.
-Turn the AGC switch off to prevent grainy lowlight footage.
-Yes the camera is awesome.
-Yes it's normal to stare at your camera for hours.
That about sums it up. Make sure you post some footage for all of us to watch.

Welcome RRH. What a nice investment you made. I dont think the A1 is a killer cam that cant be fairly easily handled in a short time so dont worry too much. Concentrate on your composition etc.
