HF200 Choppy Pans, Tilts, Glides

I have some questions.

I think my computer is powerful enough to handle the HD footage. I can play it fine, edit it fine...

But I'm noticing some stutter in man pans/tilts/slides

I'm wondering if it's just me?

It's like smooth..... stutter.....smooth....stutter.

Is it me doing something in my movements or the camera or something I'm doing in import/export???
I have the original import files and it looks like the issue does originate in the original file.

So it leads me to believe it's either me not being super smooth or something with the camera.

Thoughts?
 
Shooting in full 24MBPS - 30FPS

Importing via iMovie
I can see the choppyness starts before export... so not sure if its the import or actual files before import? Just watched some vid on the camera and it looks fine...
So seems maybe something during the import is mucking up...

Vimeo moves everything to 24p, right?
