HF100 Cinemode test

Thinking about shooting a treatment-trailer for a feature with the HF100. Why? I don't know, seems like a cool idea if it comes out looking good and they ask what you shot it on, you pull it out of our pocket and go "THIS!"

Anyway, I really havn't liked cinemode on this camera but thought I'd give it one more shot. Here's a clip

Edit: Clip has nothing to do with the trailer, just seeing if my mind has changed about cinemode

EDIT: THIS ONE IS MUCH MUCH BETTER, so if you only watch one....

Ok second test done in 60i and shot long.
Switched the CC a little bit. Much sharper looking. Think this is the look I will go with.

Johnny,

Great looking footage - I just received my HF100 yesterday - not much time to test but a little of the kids at the zoo today. I'm blown away at how nice the footage is, much like I was when I saw the HV20 for the first time. This is every bit as good though if not better.

Looking forward to slapping the Letus Extreme onto it...

Footage looks great, as usual. Looking forward to the trailer.

Sorry if you've already answered this in another thread, but how have you been dealing with editing AVCHD? Are you editing natively in Vegas, or using an intermediary codec? How is the workflow working out for you?

VEGAS ROCKS!!!!
just pop it in the timeline like anyother compatible footage, works great!
I have a core 2 duo system running at 2.8GHz and Vegas Pro 8b
