Hey, something a little different...camera bag for 7D?

Well, as I have previously only had a small amount of glass and a 30D to lug around, I didn't need a whole lot of storage space. Now that my camera kit at minimum will consist of the 7D, 4-6 lenses, a Z-Finder (just came in the mail, soooo nice), and 3 or 4 batteries...I think I need a little extra room.

Anybody have a recommendation of a certain bag or manufacturer to look at?

I really love my Dakine Mission Photo backpack. It holds a tripod in the back which is really nice because I'm usually in the forest/mountains shooting biking and skiing.

Lowepro, Kata, Crumpler, Domke, F-Stop, Dakine, etc. What type of bag you want would easily narrow down your selection.

I've owned KATA and lowepro. Both are great, but I much prefer Lowepro because KATA packs have so much padding there isn't enough free space in my opinion. I just got back from a trip to Africa and my lowepro was a godsend.

I have a Lowepro Slingshot 200AW for my DSLR. It won't be big enough for more than 4 lenses (I use it for 3 lenses, one flash plus some other stuff) but it's the perfect melange of a backpack and normal bag. The camera fits in with most lenses, so you can just take it out and instantly shoot.
It's also available in a larger size (300AW) but I rather have another bag for the rest of the stuff.

I had a Portabrace backpack-style case for my XL2 that was fantastic. Loved it. It was about $350 though. Probably don't need something that excessive for the 7D.

I have used Kata cases and they are decent.
