You see, changing your title wasn't such a bad idea, was it?
:) It worked out. I'm still planning on eventually shooting the 'Fade' script I've got on my shelf. I really love the story, I can't pass it up and it's a good thing I didn't try making it for dramafest because it's a story that really needs a 10-12 minute run time :)

haha, thanks Timur! BTW, I checked out that 2fps footage you recently shot; cool stuff :) I like the car/highway stuff near the end the best.

Thanks dood. BAck to YOUR awesome work now......:

Well Done Geoff,

I'm so glad to see your film up there. It gives me some faith in the community that the best films came out on top. Yours and Eighteen Seconds were my favourite.

Congrats and see you in the next fest :-)

Geoff you are a pro right? :D
Well deserved, everything were well planned and the camera work - framing and enditing were hollywood style.
There were some details that were brilliant.
Jump cuts were almost perfect (if we define perfect as unreachable), at the start cutting when the cars passed... well very pro.
The behind shot where he is naked and raises his hands to his face and then you cut into the bathroom with his hands on his face... brilliant.
And the old man approaching in slo-mo with his head covered by the hat was awesome.
There were 2 things that were annoying - to me - at 2:00 the cuts were too much and when we see a long shot of the old man talking to the protagonist, I lost the mystery he had there. But again that's my opinion.
Congratulations again.

Congratulations Geoff! You totally deserve the 1st place! As i said, you film is very cool and i find the story really interesting. Are you considering selling it? ;)

'Heritage' has a lot of style. You are very talented. It reminds me of the feel that Mark Pellington achieved with 'The Mothman Prophecies'. Winter in Chicago is a perfect atmosphere for this. I really dug the slo-mo, the subway shots and of course, the end. Hats off to you......

Well, I'm a bit late getting on the boat here, but I thought I'd chime in. Really nice piece. Great editing, shots, score, and a compelling story. Like a couple other people, I feel like the girl lets you down a bit, but the lead is fantastic... especially that closing scene where his eyes just burn off the screen. I feel like there's something not quite there about how the story develops, but it's really close, and a really good example of how to attempt a "big story done small" in six minutes and have it totally pay off. Good work!

Of course! but I have no idea whom would want to buy it or how they'd make any money from it. The 'business' of film is still a big mystery to me :)
