1,000mm-long guide rail (39.4") igus slider. I'm wondering if I can even carry this on to the airplane without checking in because I don't have any luggage long enough for this. Any thoughts? Thanks

I've got the same one. interesting question. answer might be different depending different airport security officers. The igus's are pretty heavy duty.
You should call your airplane company and ask for the maximum specs for large objects. They will tell you without any problem. If you can't take it with you the only solution is to ship it.
