Hello to everybody.

I am thinking to order a Brevis35 for my new XH-A1. But I do not want to make mistakes as they will be shipping it to Italy. :undecided

Which is the and basic kit suggested for Nikon lenses?

Is the rail system absolutely needed for using lenses up to the Nikon 80-200?

Thank you very much in advance! :cheesy:

So here we go:

You definitely need the Bundle with the Achromat. The achromat acts like a macro lens and allows the A1 to focus on the Brevis image plane. You'll also need to get the 72mm spacer. Your setup will be A1->Achromat->Spacer->Brevis.

Also, be sure you get the CF1L cinefuse screen or you'll get some vignetting.

If you are going to be using a long lens like a 80-200/2.8, you really should get the Brevis to Rails mount -

Rails will make your system more stable and you'll be happy you have them.
