Help with rain

So, we are set to shoot for westfest on saturday, but the forecast says rain/storms. We dont mind the rain in the shot, in fact we would prefer it. We were planning on shooting with a t2i and a 7d but could switch to 2 7d's or a 7d and 5dmk2 so that we would be weatherproof. Regardless we will get a canopy above the cameras at all times as well. Our question is what about the audio side? We have a rode ntg1, boom pole, and a zoom h4n. The zoom will be with the camera so no big deal, but what about the mic. Will it have to be under the canopy? how badly will rain hurt it? how badly will our sound turn out? we could use lavs, but then we have the same questions again. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

As long as you have it under canopy, then no worries. Btw, what was the result? Did it affect the whole shoot?

so....sounds like keeping it under the canopy is the only option?
