Hey Guys,
I'm editing in FCP with the sequence set to the following:
DVCPRO HD 720p60 / 59.97 / 1280x720
I have quite a bit of footage that needs SmoothCam plugin assistance. As you know, if you try to use this plug on a small portion of footage, it will actually analyze the entire master clip before you can manipulate the settings (takes a long time).
To bypass this, once I have an edit complete in the timeline, I want to export this short clip (5-7 secs) so as to re-import it into my FCP timeline and affect with the Smoothcam plug (much less time).
Problem is, when I set my "export using Quicktime conversion", the final FCP info panel with the export button shows all of the exact timeline settings as posted above, but there is an additional info line which says, "Quality: medium". When I go back into the main export settings there is no function I can find to change this. Any suggestions how to switch to the best quality would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
