Help with Canon FL lenses

[adf5142]

Hey guys, I was planning on buying a few oldschool Canon FL lenses. I was wondering what specific mount adapter was needed to get one on an EOS mount. I'm trying to adapt it onto my Rebel T2i.

Is it the same mount that would be used on an FD lens?

Here's some more info if no one knows about FL lenses http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photography/companies/canon/fdresources/fllenses/

Same adapter.

Same adapter mount as an FD lens? Will there be any vignetting?

No. The image circle of FL and FD lenses covers an area much larger than the APS-C sensor

ok awesome. So I'm guessing this mount would work on any FL lens?

Should do - there's not much to these adapters not to work

Better check this thread that I started a little while ago: http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthrea...Canon-EOS-to-Canon-FD-Adapters-work&highlight=. I went with the hand-made one with the built-in sensors from the UK, still waiting for it to arrive...

Update: received the adapter from the Lens Doctor and it works amazingly well! Highly recommend it.
