Help! This is driving me mad!

I've had this happen a couple times. Any input will be appreciated! When shooting interviews with the AF100, I've had the situation where my subjects just don't seem as sharp as I would think. Recently, I shot these interviews. The gentleman in the yellow photographed as I intended. When I readjusted the lights and background for the lady in red, I could get her collar, ear, and most face items sharp, except for her eyes and nose area. I would roll through focus and it just seems that the flesh values in those areas never got sharp. I'm beginning to wonder if my eyes are going! I've been shooting for over 22 years ! Equipment used :

AF100
Lumix 14-140 AND Zeiss Planar 50 1.4 (both aorund a 4/5.6 split)
monitoring HDSDI to a Panasonic LH900 Monitor (I really trust this monitor!)
Key: Diva 4x2
Passive fill
Small fresnel edge

WB : variable
Both details : 0
Gamma : HD Norm
Matrix : Norm1
Skin DTL: both on and off

thanks for any insight!

Hope this is visible in the screen grabs.... what's the best way to save stills?
Did these with Movist...lo rez

These images are a tad hard to get a close enough look. Maybe upload the photos to flikr or similar and link them?

As you know, you have to adjust for your subject's particular skin tone, so throw some pinpoint light just to get focus, lock (she's sitting, right?), and you should have it nailed.

Added link. Double click the lady to full screen. Please notice her right (cam left) eye. I rolled focus and this was the SHARPEST it would bring.
