Help. Sony FS100 firmware update.

I just received my sony fs100 about a week ago. I did some research and noticed that there is a firmware update. I am running Mountain Lion 64 bit OSX. The update only works for 32 bit. Any way around this? I tried setting the terminal to 32 bit from Apple Support and its not booting in 32 bit. Any help would be great.

Im pretty sure that it's V2, if you got it from B&H and it wasn't a long ago. You can check it in the menu.
