AC90: HELP On Disabled Menu Item "2 SLOTS FUNC."

Would much appreciate your help resolving my issue which most likely an operator error. I went through the new Operators Manual for Ver. 1.50 but could not solve it.

After upgrading from Version 1.30 to Version 1.50 my B-cam, I went though "INITIAL SET" switch to "ALL" then "SCENE". After that process, I started to copy my settings from my A-cam. I noticed that under menu "RECORD SET-UP"/"2 SLOTS FUNC." was at "OFF". So I touched "OFF" in the screen it showed "OFF" as Enabled, "AUTO SW" disabled and "BACKUP" enabled.

So, I tried on my working A-cam if I can disable "BACKUP" by selecting "OFF". After that, I can't select "BACKUP" because its disabled in the screen just like the B-cam. Now, both cams can't do backup recording as I can't toggle to do it through the screen as the feature was disabled by selecting "OFF".

Yes two SDs. The menu selection is grayed in the screen so it's not available. Looks like there is a SW bug in version 1.5 because I tried to turn off with a second AC90 and they both can not switch back anymore.

This is what I found out. If its initially set to "OFF", both "AUTO SWITCH" and "BACKUP" will be grayed. When you want to switch to either mode, insert two write-enabled SD cards in both slots. If the SD cards are locked, both "AUTO SWITCH" and "BACKUP" will still be grayed. I got really confused because I was testing with all my SD cards that were locked from previous day event shoot. So its an operator error.

I'm glad you got it figured out! I've only had this camera for a couple weeks, so I wasn't 100% sure what was going on. :beer:
