Hello guys, I would like to purchase a 7D to take stills and shoot some videos of music artists in my spare time. I'm not a professional but I would like my videos to look slick. It's likely that everything I shoot will be indoors.

I'm sure you probably get asked this a million times but can someone please help me decide what package is right for me? Money is not an object, so I'm basically looking for

- Body
- Lens
- Tripod
- SD card

Any ideas? thanks!

1. well u said 7d...so thats the body

2. a good all round range is 17-50mm tamron 2.8 non VC or the tokina 16-50mm 2.8 is also a recommended lens

(If you say $$ is not an issue then get 25, 35, 50, 85 zeiss ZF primes :) )

3. I have a satchler fsb8 with eng 75/2 tripod system but you may not need to go that expensive. But a good tripod is always a good thing.

4. 7d uses CF cards . I highly recommend these

but I just saw these http://www.amazon.com/Lexar-Profess...XUVW/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1308509306&sr=8-5 > they seem faster and 2 for that price?? No idea how that's so low. But hey seems like a deal

Sandisk

16-35, 24-70 (or, as mentioned, ziess primes)

Manfrotto never fails, quality gear for no money. Metal or carbon fibre + 501hdv/701hdv

7D is weather sealed for real (unlike 5dmk2) and that makes heat an issue. May or may not be taken into consideration depending where you live, continuous shooting, etc.
