Help me pick an ending song for my next movie

Ok so every great movie needs a good song to Finnish it off and give the audience a little groove in their step as they walk out of the popcorn smelling theater. And this next movie I am working on welllll lets just say that the 2 main protagonists die at the end of it in a kind of messed up fashon, they start out innocent enough going to seatle to pursue their dreams but when the mob starts looking for them they become desperate to flee the country. And start doing some pretty messed up things to do it like steal tools to fix their broken down car breaking into a shed to sleep at night tieing up a security guard and beating him sensless so he won't tell etc.

So by the end of the movie you arn't exactly rooting for them, but it started out so adventurous and happy so the audience gets a kind of well that happened feeling in their stomach when they are blown up just beyond the border of canada getting into their car at a dennys parking lot. Its the kind of movie where they didn't do anything wrong in the beginning but they don't wanna go to the cops

got any song for that kind of movie.

Are you asking about some popular song which you will need to get copyright approval and need to pay for before you can use, or are you looking for the help of a composer?

whatever is best, If theres a good song by a composer that they would like to donate then thats great and I can put their name in the credits. or if theres a popular song I can get copywright approval.

so its now a choice between paramore and of monsters and men. Damn I hate dealing with these last years news bands who arn't really that old school to be able to just use the music for free, but arn't new enough to be on all the hot stations all the time. Sometimes I wonder if they are doing so bad nowadays that the only money they have coming in is from movies and they want to get as much as they can or nothing, because they always seem to have some russian gentleman who barely speaks english and doesn't know how to negotiate come to the phone WHENEVER i CALL

Heard some great interviews with Carter Burwell where he's talking about how the score often paradoxically has to play against the mood of the visual, to build depth. How in Fargo, the score was uber-serious up against a splatter-gore comedy, to highten the absurdity and poignancy at the same time. So yeah, Happy Trails, but more original and striking is what you should go for. I would go for something that sounds joyous and elated. Something "Hell yeah!"
