My daughter has forced me to buy tickets to the
midnight screening of Breaking Dawn - Part 1

I thought I had done enough by buying her the
other 3 (In which she watches at least 3 times a week)

I cant take it anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Am I alone here? lol

You can always take your ipod and sit in the lobby...Or you can be like my father and fall asleep, snoring loudly.

Ha, well, my friend edited the trailers for the first two.

Which means he had to not only watch them... but watch them multiple times.

Luckily his sense of taste in films seems to have survived unharmed - he was wearing his Taxi Driver t-shirt last time I spotted him at work.

I'm still not sure how I feel about him being complicit in inflicting the series on the rest of us though.

Get one of them wear-on-yer-face sunglasses-style displays and watch Lawrence of Arabia or something, while sitting in the theater.

You are lucky your daughter even wants you there... or even wants to be seen with you in public. She must be pre-teen age. :) I'd suffer through the film and enjoy the time with your daughter. Someday soon, she'll be like every other teen and will just ask you to pay for the tickets and she'll bounce with her other friends. I'd say enjoy a movie with your kid, because once they hit around 14, it all changes.

I say enjoy it! I watched every animation I could when my son was young. I dislike talking animal movies and fell asleep during "Milo and Otis." Boy when we got home and hubby asked how the movie was my son yelled, "Mom feel asleep!" Never again. Just enjoy those times.

Last night my son, near 30, sat on the sofa bed with me and hubby sat on his recliner, we watched "Fast 5." We may not be in the theater but we still watch movies as a family. Like I said, enjoy it!

I was totally against "Twilight" too until I saw the films. They're actually pretty good. The directing and story are excellent IMO and the action isn't half bad either. I've learned a thing or two from watching them.

Well I guess I am going.

@ Ryan - Yep, she's a "preteen" lol

It wouldn't be so bad if her every day was not all about Twilight. DVD's, Posters, even the soundtrack.
Maybe I need to write a film like this.
But if I hear Jacob's name one more time, I may snap. LOL

Do what I do - if you're not into the movie on-screen, make up a different one in your head and watch that instead.
