Help help help please

Do you think that an e-series P2 card could have caused this problem, it's just odd that it's been running fine for the last year and a half on an a-series card, then pretty much as soon as I put in an e-series the camera throws a fit...seems very odd to me.
I'm not Jan, and you didn't ask...
but my guess is that you just got hit with a coincidence. There are thousands or tens of thousands of P2 users out there with "E" cards, and every new HVX200A and HPX170 comes with an "E" card, and yours is the only question like this that we've ever seen. I think it was strictly a coincidence.

Of course, the way to know for sure is to put your "E" card in another camera -- if it blows up another camera, then yeah, it's the card. But I can't fathom how high the odds against it probably are.

Ok cool thanks Barry,
I guess I just have to see what panny tech's say, not looking forward to that.

Hi Jan,

Would you have any other insight into what the problem could be.

I would say it has to be just a coincidence. If it happens on all cards, it seems that it would be the codec board, but what do I know, I'm in marketing. I am not a bench tech. Just take it in for service and it will come back good as new.

Best,

Jan

OMG slight update on the nightmare...
