HELP! FCP6 imports P2CMS Content--Then files go OFFLINE

Ive imported my footage from an external HD using log and transfer.

The clips come in and and are converted to quicktime files.

the problem is that no matter if I save my progress, the quick time files immediately go offline.

i then have to reimport the footage, batch export them out of FCP as quicktime to another file on my HD. Only to bring them back into the FCP project as self contained quicktime files.

IS THERE SOMETHING IM NOT DOING RIGHT? I have to do this process for 300GB of footage and its making me crazy!!!!!
 
Use P2CMS to import your footage. Once imported then log and transfer into FCP. I've never had any issues using this method and it's a common workflow.
