Export a quicktime with current settings, then use Compressor to convert it to either:

854x480 with square pixels (SD video)

OR

1280x720 with square pixels (HD up-rez).
 
if youre on final cut, export at 1080 or 720 (your choice) as an mpeg-4, then in the video settings, preserve the aspect ratio using crop. heres an example of those exact settings on a video i did on my dvx in squeeze mode exported as 1080 60i with a frame rate of 60:
