GH2 Help! Ext monitor worked..now it doesnt.

Anyone here today? So, I had my GH2 set in CameraP mode and had the external monitor working when I was recording. Now, it will only play back shot footage. Is there a box in the menus that I tacted when I should of ticked? I'm using the mini HDMI port to a standard yellow input to the TV. We are shooting tomorrow.

Let me re-frame the question... How do you set up the GH2 for external monitoring?

Turn the EX zoom off it doesn't work with a monitor.

Thanks. That didn't do it, it was already off. Any other thoughts? Playback comes thru fine but no live monitoring...

Here are a few ideas. HDMI sync is touchy. Try turning the items on in a different order. Set the output to 720p for starters. And, lastly, one item likely to be the culprit is the cable. The cable that came with my Canon Camcorder works great, other cables I have tried are more intermittent. So definitely try a different cable. I have also had the live monitoring work on some monitors and not on others. Make sure whatever monitor you are using has the right screen ratio. Some have overscan as well as 16x9. If you aren't running the stock firmware try that as well.
