Hi, I recently got a Canon 7D with a Sigma 30mm 1.4 lens. I am soon getting a RedRock Micro rig with a monitor, and a rode ntg2 (and zoom h4n) for audio. I do LITTLE photography but A LOT of video.
I want to know what a really good all around lens is for video. My price range is up to $2500. I would like a zoom but I know most cinema/film lenses are fixed so it would just be a nice bonus for that odd moment. An all around lens haha. I was thinking of the 24-70mm 2.8L.
Also a really wide lens would be cool, if you know of a good wide angle lens/fisheye that isnt to expensive but is good for video. $600-$1200. Let me know.
Thanks,
Harrison
PS I read one of the main posts in this section of the forum and found the Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 was recommended as a wide angle. I heard Tokina's didnt work with Canon's nicely? Thoughts on this lens?
