HELP! Bower to Nikon eos adapter stuck on camera

Ok so i bought this canon to nikon adapter from ebay. So after great difficulty i got it on my canon 7d . So now trying to get it off has been a nightmare. The little spring locks seems to not be working and i cant remove it from a zeiss lens i rented. I need advice in the worse way.

any help would be appreciated.
 
i ll take one in a little bit. but now i see that little hinge you push down to lock the adapter in place seems to have come off.
 
You are spossed to put the adapter onto the lens not the camera

put the lens on if you can and the remove the lens and adapter

then remove the adapter from the lens
