Could anyone suggest a PCI-x Firewire 800 card? I've googled and googled, and can't seem to find a place that sells them. I've seen PCI Firewire 800 cards, but not PCI-x. I know they run about $50 to $70. But for the life of me I can't seem to find one listed anywhere. I am probably overlooking something, I would expect the cards are pretty common.
I want the card so as to free up the firewire busses for a Lacie external drive I am buying. (I am working with HDV from the A1 -- Lacie has been recommended with some warnings. I also researched Cal Digit and GTech who seem dependable but the price for a terrabyte of Lacie seems worth slightly more risk.)
