Hi all!

I'm new here so here's my intro.

I have been shooting event video with consumer level gear for the last couple of years mainly for firiends, family and their referrals. Did well enough that I have been able to upgraded my main camera to an XH-A1 (Woo-Hoo) and I've been deep in study/training/learning mode for the last couple of weeks. Trying to step up a notch and teach myself to shoot everything in manual and get better control of my images.

I am also a passionate amateur photographer, musician and motocyclist and family man.

I know I still have a long way to go but I'm having a ball.

Here are my first couple of efforts with the XH-A1.

First one I've shot in HD, view in new high quality mode on YouTube

Shot in SD

Hey. Welcome to the board and congrats on your new XH A1. I just got one myself.

Not sure if your looking for any constructive criticism bought I thought I might mention a couple of things. Some of your pans seemed pretty sticky. Try and be more fluid with them. Also some of the shots, where you are holding the cam, are pretty shakey. You're probably aware of both these issues, so in that case you can disregard what I've said.

Anyway, enjoy the camera. Later.

Yes the old set up was minimal at best. With the new camera I have also upgraded my Tripod. head, mics, lighting as referenced above. Still working on my hand held skills with the new camera. Thanks for the feedback always welcome and I'm anxious to improve and learn here.
